Risk management is a system that proactively prevents or reduces hazards to patients and responds to incidents.
This organized effort functions to identify and assess incidents as well as plan courses of actions accordingly.
Risk management has become an important part of hospital accreditation programs and many hospitals have staff specializing in it. In many countries, medical doctors and nurses receive little if any training in risk management as part of their speciality programs. This creates a gap between the risk management staff (whose job is to organize the efforts) and the clinical staff (whose role is to identify, assess and react to incidents).
Our training aims to bridge this gap by providing a tailored program to educate the staff and help build an internal medical system within the units to support the risk management department.
This is built on the concept of clinical governance and the UK medical training program.
Our training courses are designed for inhouse teaching as well as general education. There are different types and formats of courses available based on the requirements of the medical institute.
